Domain पढ़ें: अधिकतर सरकारी portals .gov.in या .nic.in पर होते हैं, लेकिन कुछ public utilities के official domains अलग हो सकते हैं। पूरा domain ध्यान से पढ़ें और विभाग के published link से मिलाएँ; lookalike sites से बचें।
Payment/OTP: कोई agent WhatsApp/call पर पैसे, OTP, UPI PIN या Aadhaar image माँगे तो रुक जाएँ। सरकारी fee सिर्फ official gateway पर लगती है।
