PIN result को कैसे पढ़ें
Six-digit PIN डालने पर एक ही code से जुड़े कई post offices मिल सकते हैं। Result में office name, branch type, district और delivery status देखें। Address form में nearest familiar office चुनने की जगह अपने official address proof और locality से matching office/district लिखें। एक PIN कई villages या delivery areas cover कर सकता है।
Search result public postal directory से आता है और समय के साथ बदल सकता है। महत्वपूर्ण application, courier, bank KYC या certificate के लिए India Post Know Your Pincode page पर verify करें। District boundary या office name बदलने पर पुराने document और current directory में अंतर हो सकता है; issuing authority के accepted address format को follow करें।
Privacy और failed lookup
Lookup के लिए केवल six-digit PIN external public API को भेजा जाता है। Name, house number, phone, Aadhaar या full address field में डालने की जरूरत नहीं है। Network unavailable हो या service response न दे तो थोड़ी देर बाद retry करें और official India Post link खोलें।
Invalid result आने पर digits और leading zero दोबारा जाँचें। Search में मिला delivery status courier company की serviceability guarantee नहीं होता। किसी government form में state/district auto-fill अलग दिखे तो submit करने से पहले help instructions और address proof से match करें।
